XEOMIN (1×100 IU)


XEOMIN is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles. This product is made in Europe. XEOMIN is an effective drug that has been available by prescription since 2005 to treat pain in the head and neck pain symptoms that occur during Cervical Dystonia (CD)


Xeomin is used to treat muscle spasms and pain. Once XEOMIN has been injected into the muscles, it starts to inhibit acetylcholine from being released. This chemical makes fibers in the muscle contract, so without acetylcholine, muscles will contract less, resulting in fewer spasms and discomfort to the individual.

Who should not use Xeomin?

Patients who have bleeding disorders of any type.
Patients who have generalized disorders of muscle activity, e.g., myasthenia gravis.
Individuals with a known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
Pregnant or lactating women.

How long will the results last?

Results can vary but typically last for three months.

Are there any associated side effects with Xeomin?

There have been reported side effects of bruising or bleeding at the injection site, headaches, and brow droop.
